Everything takes time.
Working on your most important project takes time
Processing email takes time
Attending meetings takes time
Scrolling social media takes time
Writing this email takes time
You see, we all have the same 24 hours. You, me, and everyone else.
Time is the great equalizer.
Time — not motivation — is your bottleneck.
And because you have limited time, there’s only so much you can do.
So the question is not: do you have time?
But rather: what are you investing your time on?
You see…
Time management isn't really about "managing" time.
It’s about trade-off management.
Because if you’re doing X, you can’t be doing Y — or Z or A or E — at the same time. It’s just not possible.
When you say “no”, you say “no” to one thing.
But when you say “yes”, you say “no” to a thousand things.
So the trick is to say “no” to merely good options so you can say “yes” to amazing opportunities.
Easier said than done, I know.
Because how do you know what the amazing opportunities are?
And let’s say you think you know what they are. How can you be sure you’re making the right decision?
You don’t. At least not after your decision.
And that’s why most of us struggle with time management.
I’ll tell you more tomorrow.
P.S.
In the next few days, I’ll open the doors to my new program. It’s designed so you can finally get control over your time.
Want to skip the line and come inside before the rush?
Reply ‘skip’ and I’ll send you all the details.
