The Life-Changing Magic of “Just-in-Time Learning”
ʺJust-in-time learningʺ changed everything for Pat Flynn, a world-famous blogger.
The concept is simple:
💡 Only consume content related directly to the next task you have in the current project you’re working on.
Blog posts, podcast episodes, videos—they must help him with completing that next task on his priority list, or else it doesn‘t deserve his attention... at this moment.
FOMO (fear of missing out) does make this hard though because there‘s so much great stuff out there we don‘t want to miss.
However, if you‘re smart about it and as you come across interesting and potentially helpful content you put it aside into a tool such as Roam or Notion for easy access later.
This simple concept can truly change how much you get done versus how much you learn.
Timely post for me. I’m overwhelmed with all the great advice and content but I need to focus on learning how to do JUST my next step.
