It’s really simple:

  1. Choose a Task Pick something that you’ve been meaning to do for a while, but keep on putting off

  2. Set a Timer Pick your smartphone or watch and set a timer for 5 minutes. Hit start

  3. Do the Task Now go do that something for JUST 5 MINUTES

That’s right, you can only do it for 5 MINUTES.

If you’re like most people, chances are you didn‘t just do that one thing for 5 minutes. In fact, it is likely that you ended up finishing that one task or got a good amount of it completed.
