I once worked with a client that
Was a CFO and COO of a big corporation
Had 3 kids below the age of 10, as well as 2 dogs and a cat
Did volunteer work at her church on the weekends
She was crushing on all of them. She was successful at her job, a super mom, and helped the community.
But like all ambitious people, she wanted more.
She wanted
To complete 2 big projects at work that would help her company
To train and run a half-marathon in her hometown
To have time just for herself to relax and wind down
I could help.
I love helping ambitious people. They are my favorite clients.
They have the drive and motivation, follow the plan, and — most importantly — cherish the help.
Here’s something that surprised me when I started working with clients a few years ago:
It’s always the most ambitious people that want help managing their time.
But when you think about it, it makes total sense…
They already have the discipline. And they know what they want.
What they need help with is redirecting that discipline to what they want.
And because they haven’t been able to do that so far, they look for help. They understand the value of help. The value of a coach.
Because they know I will help them with the redirecting.
In aviation, there’s a concept called the “1 in 60 Rule.”
Simply put, for every 1 degree you are off course, you will end up being 1 mile off course after traveling 60 miles.
Imagine a plane flying from New York to Tokyo. If the plane is just 1 degree off course from the beginning, after flying 6,755 miles you’d end up 112 miles away from Tokyo.
The same happens with your time.
Even if you’re just a little bit off how you’re investing it, you’ll end up somewhere else. Not where you want to be.
3 months later my client sent me a photo of her crossing the finish line on the half-marathon. Smiling. Happy. Like when you achieve a dream
Not only that, but she completed not 2 but 3 major projects at work. All while finding time to relax during her busy weeks.
She did all that.
All I did was help her stay on course. Redirect. Like a pilot on a plane.
If you’re ambitious and know what you want, I’d love to help.
Reply "AMBITIOUS" and let’s talk.
Let’s go get it.
