Steal a few minutes here, steal a few minutes there
Last Wednesday I woke up with a mission.
Rolled out of bed.
Jumped into my chair.
And, prepared to replace myself.
Let me explain…
Sometimes, my workflows get interrupted when I’m deep in flow.
It drives me nuts.
You probably know what I’m talking about…
That one small task you do manually.
It steals a few minutes here, steals a few minutes there.
It adds up.
Whenever I’m deep in flow, and something breaks my focus, I want to rip my hair out.
So…I spent Wednesday morning automating tasks.
In other words, replacing myself.
That way I can swiftly move through my deep work.
With my flow never being broken.
Just how I like it.
How it’s supposed to be.
It took me 1-2 hours — but it’ll save me dozens of hours in the future.
The truth is…
This is a normal Wednesday for me.
I’m always “replacing myself.”
I spend 1 day per week working to make the other 4 easier.

Give it a shot.
It adds up.
