The Pomodoro Technique is one of the simplest (yet most effective) productivity systems.
The basic rule is to work on 25-minute increments.
Here’s the step-by-step:
Choose one task and one task ONLY
Set a timer for 25 minutes. I use this app
Work on that task until the timer rings and then put a checkmark on a tracker
Take a 5-minute break
Repeat 1-4 three more times, followed by a 15-minute break
25 minutes doesn’t sound a lot but that’s 25 minutes of completely uninterrupted work.
I use it every single day, normally 4 cycles in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. My quantity AND quality of work skyrocketed!
