Learn my exact process to create book summaries. Click here to learn more.

  1. Start with the non-negotiables These are the tasks that you absolutely must get done

  2. Write down everything in my head, in any random order Don’t try to be a perfectionist about the list. Write whatever comes out

  3. The list needs to be very specific Be specific about your tasks in terms of what you need to do and how long it will take. When you’re first creating the list, don’t force yourself to put everything in order or group everything. The key is to get it all down. Figuring out the order of events comes later

  4. If you have too much for one day, prioritize Do the math and add all the time for your tasks. Have 12 hours of tasks but only 7 during the day to accomplish them? You need to prioritize. Ask yourself: "What can wait?" Figure out what can be cut or delayed to the future until the time to complete your tasks matches the time you have available

  5. Schedule your day Now schedule exactly when you will do everything over the day
