If you’ve been procrastinating at a task that‘s been on your to-do list for a while, write down the first thing that you need to do to move forward on that task.
And make that first task as small as possible.
For example:
If you need to go shopping, just write down "get up and pick spare shopping bags".
Or if you need to write an article, write down "choose the title" or "write an outline".
Then, take that first action.
